Appointments
We Are Now a Total Triage Practice
Our practice now operates a Total Triage system.
This means all appointment and advice requests are assessed by a clinician or a trained member of our team before any appointment is booked. This ensures you get the right care, first time.
How It Works
- Contact us via our Anima or by phone.
- Tell us briefly what your problem is.
- Our clinical team reviews your request and decides the most appropriate next step this might be:
- A same-day or routine appointment (in person or by phone)
- Advice or a prescription
- Referral to another healthcare professional or service
Your Appointment
After assessing your request, we will decide the best way to help you. This may be:
- A telephone call
- A face-to-face appointment at the surgery
- A video call
- A text or email
- Appointments by phone, video, text or email can be more flexible and may help you get support sooner.
Cancelling or Changing an Appointment
You can cancel an appointment by:
- Replying CANCEL to your appointment reminder text
- Calling 01795 477764 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 6:30pm)
- Visiting the surgery during our opening hours
- fill in an online form
- use your Patient Access account (through the Patient Access website or Patient Access app)
Missed appointments (DNAs) impact our ability to provide timely care. Please cancel if you no longer need your appointment.
If You Need Help When We Are Closed
- If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
- NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 for children under 5.
- Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency (life-threatening illness or injury)
You may be asked to attend an emergency centre at Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital or Sheppey Community Hospital.

If You Need Help With Your Appointment
Please let us know if:
You have a preferred doctor, nurse or health professional
You prefer a phone, face-to-face, video, text, or email consultation
You need an interpreter
You have access or communication needs
Home Visits
Home visits are available for housebound patients only.
Please call our appointment line on 01795 477764 before 10:30am.
Home visits take significantly longer than appointments at the surgery, and we can examine you more easily on site.
If you have a temperature or rash, please inform the receptionist when you arrive at the surgery. Coming in will not harm others, but we appreciate being notified.
Transport difficulties or social problems are not valid reasons for requesting a home visit.
Please note: Patients living outside the practice boundary may not be entitled to a home visit
