I completed my nurse training at Medway Maritime hospital and worked in acute medicine for the over 75s and completed a Diploma in Elderly care. In 2001, I moved to primary care working within the District Nursing team and completed a degree in community practice.
I have worked within the specialist teams in Infection Prevention and Control (IP&C) in both primary and secondary care, with a Post Graduate Diploma in IP&C.
I also was employed as a Parkinson’s Disease Specialist Nurse at Darent Valley Hospital working across Primary and Secondary care.
I qualified as a Non -Medical prescriber in 2014.
In 2019, I commenced my training to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner whilst working in emergency care in East Kent hospitals, completing my MSc in July 2022
I have a specialist interest in Frailty.
