I began my Career at Medway Hospital, where I completed a diploma, nursing degree and prescribing qualification. I also trained in skin surgery and dermatology.
I moved to Kings Colleges Hospital where I assisted in relocating the dermatology department from Orpington and became a Macmillan Skin cancer nurse specialist. Leading a team of 17 nurses and HCA’s I continued to do skin surgery and support patients with cancer and other skin conditions.
In 2018 I set up a wound service to cover Dartford, Swanley and Gravesend, this enabled my team to provide specialist wound care across the area.
I started my masters in Advanced Clinical Practice in sept 2019 and made the transition to primary care where I could expand my scope of practice. I have worked for Memorial Medical Centre since August 2021 and enjoy my role and the variety of conditions we treat.
I graduated the MSC in Advanced Clinical Practice in July 2022 and can competently see a wide variety of conditions. I continue to study different conditions to ensure we are giving the most up to date evidence based advice and treatment.
