Here at Memorial Medical Centre in October 2023 we offered 7,403 appointments, of which:
417 The Patient Did not Attend/Missed the contact from the Surgery (DNA). This is an average of 14.2 hrs per week!
GP appointment data – September 2023
New figures released by NHS England show 975,000 appointments were offered by general practices in Kent and Medway in September
Of those appointments, 66 per cent were face-to-face or home visits. The data also shows more than 54,000 people did not attend their appointments.
We would urge anyone who can no longer attend any appointment (be it with their GP practice, a vaccination appointment, or a hospital appointment) to please cancel them. This allows the NHS to use the time to see other patients in need.
