Dr Barbara Engel

I trained at the Humbolt University in Berlin.  After qualifying I achieved an MD for Research on Gestational Diabetes.  I came to the UK in 2002 and gained experience in several specialties including general medicine, surgery, psychiatry, paediatrics and A&E.  I spent several years in obstetrics and gynaecology at St. Thomas’ Hospital and gained post-graduate diplomas in this area in addition to family planning and general practice.  I completed my final year of training as a registrar before joining the team as a partner in 2008.
