Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic we have had to implement changes in order to keep vital services running for you.
All patients are now required to wear a face mask or fabric covering before entering the surgery building.
To help us to continue seeing patients we have introduced some additional measures to help protect both our patients and staff. This includes temperature checking all patients attending the practice for an appointment and asking a series of questions to ensure that anyone coming into the surgery does not have COVID-19 symptoms.
All patients will now be telephone triaged, and seen in the Practice only if deemed necessary by a clinician. Patients can call at any time of the day to book a GP callback.
You also can book a phone call from a GP using patient access . Please bear in mind that the GP will call you on the day of your telephone appointment, the time given on your appointment details does not indicate what time you will receive a call. Please do not attend the surgery for this appointment.
Prescription requests are not accepted over the telephone, we encourage those of you with online access to order online, and those without to either post your request or put it through our letterbox at the front of the surgery. Prescriptions are taking longer than usual to process at the current time, due to demand.
We are unable to issue extra supplies of medication or issue medication early. If you have not been prescribed medication, such as an inhaler for a long period of time, we will not be able to issue unless there is a true clinical need.
Routine chronic illness management appointments will be cancelled for the time being. We will endeavor to reintroduce these as telephone appointments in the future, if appropriate. We will contact you by telephone, text or letter to confirm this.
