The NHS requires every practice to have a Patient Participation Group (PPG) and your surgery has an active group.

A Patient Participation Group (PFG) is a group of people who are patients of the surgery and want to
help it work as well as it can for patients, doctors and staff.
As a member you will have the opportunity to contribute your views as to how the practice is being
run and if it is meeting patients needs. The PPG deals with common issues that affect patients so
your personal experience can be useful. You will also have access to the surveys carried out by the
practice and those that come from the PPG itself. You will also be able to put forward agenda items
to be discussed at the meetings.

We welcome enquiries from patients who would like to join our patient group. Please note that only applications from current patients will be accepted. If you are a patient at another GP surgery, please ask them about joining their PPG.

Please note – You must be a member of our PPG group to attend any meetings. If you would like to join the group, please fill in our form using the link below.

Meetings to take place in the Health Education Room from 11AM – 12.30PM. Please sign in at the surgery reception upon arrival.

If you would like to add anything to the agenda to discuss in the meeting, please email Sarah Mckelvie at memorialmedical@nhs.net. Your topics will then be shared with the Patient Participation Group Chair Roy Gosling.
